Privacy Policy

Who This Policy Covers
This policy covers base64encode.cc and its sibling site base64decode.cc. Questions about this policy or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
Tool Data
The text and files entered into the encoder are processed in your current browser session. The tool does not send the conversion input or output to an application API, and it does not keep conversion results after the page is refreshed or closed. Do not place passwords, API keys, tokens, or other sensitive information in URLs, screenshots, or browser extensions.
Technical Requests and Analytics
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, processes routine technical request data such as IP address, request time, user agent, referring page, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregated site use and improve reliability. This data is not used to recover the text or files you process with the tool.
Cookies and Local Storage
The conversion tools do not store your input or output in browser local storage. Cloudflare or other service providers may use essential technical storage or similar identifiers as described in their own policies. Your browser settings can be used to control cookies where applicable.
Advertising
We do not currently display Google AdSense ads. If we enable Google advertising, we will update this policy before ads are shown. Google and its partners may then process cookies, IP addresses, online identifiers, and browser information to deliver and measure ads. More information is available in Google's explanation of data use on partner sites.
Consent Choices
Before showing personalized Google ads to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform and provide a way to accept, reject, manage, and later withdraw consent. This policy will identify the active consent tool and advertising partners when that configuration is live.
Retention and Sharing
We do not sell tool input or output. Technical and analytics data is handled by the service providers described above under their retention policies and may be disclosed when required for security, legal compliance, or protection against abuse.
Children and Policy Changes
This site is not directed to children under 13. We may revise this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
